Shawk

Shawk (Common pets)

Darting through the sky, these nimble, intelligent predators can be tamed to bring small game back to their owners and can even send messages long distances with the appropriate planning. In the past, war generals used to perch Shawks on their shoulder and their loud, noble screech can send fear into the enemy's hearts. Although the time of war has long since passed, they have recently been selectively bred and domesticated, bringing out the iconic golden yellow coat compared to their more dull, wild ancestors.

Skytan

Skytan (Rare pets)

Flying effortlessly through the clouds and living off the energy of the sunlight, Skytans live life slowly and to the fullest. Some Seraphlings dedicate their lives to understanding the complex and quiet lives of these behemoths, since their songs are so alluring and mysterious. They can be ridden if you're patient and gain their trust, and the truest sign of trust is when a Skytan lets you pet their Calf. You dont adopt a Skytan, they adopt you! Helping raise a Skytan calf is a great honor, since they can only have one offspring at a time, need alot of space to grow, and cannot be bred in captivity. Baby Skytans come of age after two years but usually remain in their social group with their parents for the rest of their life. However, some particularly adventurous ones may even strike it out to make their own pod or even live alone. Not much is known about these creatures.
